Physical Exam Management

Physical examination site identification, set-up, and quality management - NDI works with clients to identify and select the most appropriate, capable, cost-effective and geographically appropriate providers available. NDI coordinates physical exam services through its Preferred Provider Network (PPN) whenever possible to ensure the consistency and quality of services on the local, regional and national level. Utilizing an extensive network of over 8,000 approved medical facilities, individual and group medical practices and other qualified medical organizations, NDI locates examination sites that are geographically convenient to the client's work locations. Once identified, NDI can supply the facility with NDI and client specific procedures and protocols that facilitate the examination process. NDI's quality assurance maintenance plan ensures these examination sites receive on- going oversight and assistance in the form of medical examiner updates and regulatory, medical, legal and procedural support.

In evaluating the provider's ability to perform required services, NDI exams the certifications, training and experience of the provider and its personnel. In addition to service capabilities, other factors specified by the client are also considered in selecting specific providers to serve NDI and its clientele. Examples include the geographic proximity and convenience to the client's locations, hours of operation, cost of services and client-specified preferences.
