Statistics show that more than half of all resumes contain exaggerated or fraudulent information concerning education. Verification confirms an applicant's level of education, schools attended, degrees obtained, grade point average and attendance dates.
Education
verifications are completed via telephone, fax, and
mail.
Interviews are conducted with registrars office.
Researchers seek to verify dates of attendance,
degree, and major field of study. This may include GED,
high school diploma, college or advanced degrees.
In addition, the schools academic accreditation
will be determined during each interview. The
accreditation question may uncover so-called diploma
mills and similar degree-for-dollars schemes.

"When we discovered we had a substance abuse problem we approached NDI to develop a testing program for our distribution center. During the first 6 months of their program, we had a significant decrease in forklift accidents and a 25% reduction in workman's compensation claims. 8 months later we asked NDI to implement an additional pre-employment substance abuse program. NDI advised us to add a 120-day probationary period for all new hires. It's been a tremendous success. Our turnover declined from 70% to 40% annually and accidents and thefts declined significantly."
