background check research must be conducted with
strict accordance to local legal provisions such as
employment, privacy, and or consumer reporting laws
including the US Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA),
Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Sarbanes
Oxley, US Patriot Act and other US privacy
standards. As such, international research can only
be carried out under express written consent from a
given candidate which includes notice from employer
regarding the collection, processing, and transfer
(export) of a given candidate’s sensitive personal
information overseas. A signed/copy of a specific
International Authorization/Consent Form must
accompany all international requests outlined in
this document prior to any research being initiated
(contact us for form). Pricing varies by
